Bahaa has always striven to nurture young minds. His support for innovation and success of the next generation comes in the form of contributions for research, think tanks, and investments in large-scale projects that create jobs for young professionals.

After the recent harrowing events in his home country, Lebanon, Bahaa was adamant on standing by the Lebanese people in the time of a poorly-managed pandemic, economic freefall, and an almost lawless state.

LAU Vaccination Campaign

In an effort to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to those in need and promote an effort to educate the country on the need to take part in the vaccination effort, Bahaa donated $1M to the Lebanese American University Medical Center to execute their vaccination campaign.

Oxygen Concentrators

At a time when hospitals were struggling to provide seriously ill patients suffering from COVID-19 with oxygen to save their lives, Bahaa donated 400 oxygen concentrators to the Lebanese Red Cross to alleviate the suffering of Lebanese citizens.

Center For The Middle East

Bahaa is the founder and major donor of the Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East at the Atlantic Council. The center aims to reflect Rafik Hariri’s efforts to rise above the Middle East's sectarianism and promote innovative policies to advance economic, social, civil and political liberalization and sustainable conflict resolution.

Institute for Computational Science
and Engineering Center

In an effort to support research universities as part of his commitment to contribute to the advancement of society, Bahaa donated $15M to build Boston University’s Institute for Computational Science and Engineering. Bahaa viewed his contribution as a testimony to his father’s everlasting devotion to the pursuit of knowledge and an enduring hope to many around the world.
